Hi all.

So im moving soon where there will be no fiber available. And they all have full coverage there so that's also no problem.

My problem comes in with what lte option to take.
In regards to all 3 im fine with using their top packages. About R1000 each.

My question is what should i get.

Im a very big torrent user and a avid fps and MOBA gamer so low latency is my friend.
Also i do a lot of streaming and host a few services on my home server.
I also like to host my own VPN server for personal use.

You cant host anything on rain, they use CGNAT.

Afrihost might allow it , telkom does allow on the unresticted vpn

Interesting to know. Thank you.

Sofar im looking at MTN then cos the 10Mbps from telkom is a no go for me and the CGNAT is also a no go for me then.
From what i read is that MtN also have a 1TB softcab that is more than enough for me. Not that i would dopwnload that much these days anymore

Telkom are useless from my experience. I recently got Telkom LTE as a backup to my fibre. I only get about 2Mbps up and down.
Friend of mine says he's on Telkom cellular, when power goes off in the area he has no connectivity until power is back. Stolen batteries?MTN I think is a better bet. I would have gone with them but they don't offer LTE in my area.
