Psu crackling, should I be worried?

Have a superflower leadex 2 750W, makes this crackling noise under certain loads.

Did it with my 1080 but got my 3080 yesterday and this seems to have made it worse.

Nothing when running time spy extreme but running time spy sounds like this.

Should I be worried or is this just coil whine?

750W with a 3080 is a tough one. What CPU are you running?

8700k, did the same thing with my 1080 though just not as bad.
Only does it in some games so not sure what it could be.

Sounds like the caps on the psu having issues with voltage, I would rma if still warranty

Has a 7 year warranty according to the wootware page. Problem is I'd be without a pc while they test it and if the problem can't be reproduced or the noise is seen as a non issue I'm out a couple hundred for shipping and most likely wasted a week.

IF you don't try to RMA it and it is faulty you could be out more than a couple of hundred and possibly for longer

You're right, just wish you weren't. Will contact wootware support and see what they say.
