Hi guys

Was wondering if anyone would be able to help me. I have a 4K television, but it only has HDMI 1.4 ports. This means that 4K compatible devices (my GPU and my PS4 Pro) are only able to display a max of 30Hz at 4K resolution. The PS4 Pro no longer supports 4K at 30Hz, therefore rendering the 4K setting on the console grayed out and unable to use. I have read online of a bypass where an HDMI spliiter can be used, where HDMI input is 1.4, and output is 2.0. Where would be the best place to buy a splitter that has this functionality?

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Thanks for the feedback! What would the reason be for the integral requirement?
A normal splitter can’t convert the signal - that’s what the integral does. It’s a HDCP converter - so it receives and decodes the HDMI signal, converts it, encodes it and sends it to the device as HDCP 2.2. Its a pretty specialised gadget.

Ooooh I see, makes sense. Thanks for the clarity. I can see it is quite specialized yes, and damn expensive haha Might as well sell the current TV and just buy a newer version that supports HDMI 2.0 /HDCP 2.2. Thanks for the feedback.
