Willing to accept a shipped item: I'd be worried
Ballpark/Budget Amount: up to R4M
It may be a unpopular choice right now but the wife and I are looking to buy property. We just sold our house and the transfer went through this week. We’ve arranged to stay in the house until the end of January. I know a lot of people will try to weigh with their comments how the country is going down the drain and it’s a bad decision but let’s not pollute this thread.
Location is very important so we’re not really considering other areas. We’ve decided to make the move due to our daughter starting Grade 1 and we wanted to be closer to the school. We’ve been checking Private Property and Property24 so obviously this ad is directed towards the private seller(we both can save a bit without having an estate agent)
The deets:
Area: Morningside and River Club, Sandton. We might consider Sandown. House/cluster/townhouse.
Must haves: 3 bedrooms, Staff Quarters/Flatlet(or the possibility to add it in within budget) this is for an older parent that will be staying with us
Budget: up to R4M, we would preferably like to spend in the low R3M but we can extend our budget if the right place comes along. We will not have any issues applying for the bond so it’s a guaranteed deal for the right place.
