Job Description/Requirements:
- Knowledge and ability in Linux (terminal). Preferably RedHat/CentOs, as our product currently runs on CentOs 7.
- Great communication skills. We work all over Africa, with a variety of different clients and cultures.
- Problem analysis and troubleshooting.
- Ability to document and capture processes.
- Advantage for scripting and python knowledge, but not required.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about tech, automation, Linux and software in general. Responsibilities will include day to day support remotely to clients, configuring client systems, automating as much as possible , systems reports, processes analysis and documentation. We are a small company and we are planning on taking on a few new clients this year, and for that we need to expand our support team. Our product is an intelligent image and document processing system; so you would be responsible for ensuring client systems are running, user/front end support, changes on definitions and configurations, etc. A clear understanding of, and ability in Linux is required. Our front end and scanning software work on Windows, but all the server goodies and processing happens on Linux.
This is an ideal time to be a part of our team. We have big dreams and big plans, and would love to have someone aboard who is as passionate about tech and software as we are.
