Very nice indeed! Now get to work and post some real updates demmet!! :p

and so it started...

these 2 are where I took a bronze panel with 2 new cut pieces I got, to see how it fits. the bronze panel I cut down quite a bit but realized something later on which you will see.

pic 1 is where the SSD will go, and pic 2 is just a top down view.

pic 1 is what I did to the one 8mm piece to get it to fit inside at the front and pic 2 is the tools hard at work.

pic 1 is what was realized when I took one of the 8mm pieces I got and put it inside the frame, pic 2 is some of the new pieces I got yesterday.

pic 1 shows what I did today was cut some 'template' pieces from a big bronze panel I got so that I don't mess up the actual pieces, pic 2 shows a comparison against my original bronze measuring piece and an 8mm piece I cut to fit.

both pics shows a comparison of the bronze panel templates and the 8mm pieces. the 8mm will be worked down to the size of the bronze.

these 2 show how much with the original 8mm pieces the base panel has to drop.

Would you kindly post some more pics. I have not seen enough.

Very nice dude!! Makes me wanna redo my case completely on the inside. :(

Finally, you fappy man :) Looking good, almost finished my tube of lube gawking at ur cud goodness :p

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

problem 1 - SOLVED

did a quick test, cause I can't really continue this morning with too much noise, but my problem of how will get the plexi nice and straight has been solved.

SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!!!

it cut that 8mm like a hot knife through butter. nice and straight and smooth.

so tomorrow 1st will be the straightening of the bronze templates from where I will go on to doing the other 8mm pieces.

next challenge will be to get nice and straight hand drilling going cause I will want to drill into the 8mm, from the side.

also in the works: me and bro gonna try get us a nice basic wooden bench going especially for the jigsaw cutting and the routing.

also noticed and remembered something that may get in way: the stock side panels although since I want to get new ones cut without those pieces on the inside, it shouldn't be a problem.

stay tuned

think must get video going of that router in action when I do the next pieces of plexi :p

k so the forum is currently ticking the living hell out of me cause I can't edit post...

so the image should be:

2nd last or last?

right guys, some opinions: if you were going for case feet - solid plexi or wood?

Send me the solid plexi and will turn you some feet on the CNC
For Example

hehehe, nah no pic/link...

damn thread was hidden by certain 'parties'

busy marking off where panels will be best placed on the bottom panel of case.

need to start the drilling into case but really need to be spot on :(

the original stock switch panel:

new switches:

DSCF1011a_zpsd45defcf.jpg

now my cutting straight isn't near what one would want, but until I get the better hardware to achieve it, this will have to do.

my black switches with 1x white ring and 1x blue ring are on their way. will be replacing the silver with red ring.

2 images of some change involved:

this would be the general idea where the fans then would also be bringing in air.
