Coins we predict that will be a good HODL coin.

I'll start:

Electroneum (ETN)
Mining Currency, been following them from the start. Shows future potential, mass adoption a great possibility and security detail up to par (HackerOne). Still got some problems with wallet, but mining looks solid enough. Marketing is just a bit stale since John Mcafee's massive tweet.

TRON (TRX)
Been following since the John Mcafee shout out. Didn't even have this coin marked as anything potentially amazing, but the whitepaper and roadmap looks good enough. Blockchain-based protocol built around free content entertainment system. Long HODL coin for sure.

Monero (XMR)
Now this coin. This coin is beautiful. Secure. Anonymous. Deadly. Google this one.
Coming in with a low circulating supply, this coin should be watched. Potential to grow enormously.

GAS
Coin that supports NEO. Circulating supply good, coming in at rank 72 as of typing, I think this one is a good long HODL coin. There's some more explanation of what exactly it is.
https://captainaltcoin.com/what-is-gas-coin/

B3Coin (B3/KB3- at this point, no one's sure)
On paper, this coin is amazing. Proof of stake coin, quick and secure. This coin is a solid investment.... if... and only if, they can sort out their shit. I mean, go check the history of this coin. It's like an episode of days of our lives. Amazing quality of entertainment. MAY grow to be worth something within 5 years.

Obviously you can go look at Fibonacci graphs and come to a more precise conclusion. But these, in my opinion, looks like a good and nice HODL.
Please, feel free to add more coins you think has/will have potential to grow.

May the HODL be with you

Definitely I will say Substratum and Neo as well. Potentially Verge.

Tron and hodl should not be in the same sentience. Good white paper? There's more holes in that thing than a colander.

Oh, care to elaborate a bit more? Maybe I missed something. :|

Don't buy into the hype of tron... Go do more research on the whitepapers because its actually a joke. Crypto dogs and Justin Suns twitter feed...really? Its not something to hodl.

I got in at 4c got out at about 26c. Bought back at 11c - looking to sell and never come back after the next few announcements.

My hodl: mco, neo, icx, eth.

Oh yes, ICON I agree with 100%. Haven't invested yet, been keeping my eye on it for a while now.

Well in my experience (limited experience) a coin is only as good as it's name goes, or that's how it would seem.

I mean look at PickleRicks for example. The coin is not listed on CoinMarketCap, no website, no roadmap, hell it doesn't even have a supporting community, still, the coin grew.
Why? Because it has a name that's audacity level is of the most -un. I bought this coin as a joke at 51 sats. It's now standing at 538 sats (and this is a steady climb, not just a peak).

Not to contradict the whole crypto industry, but at some point you have to start asking the question.
So what does research really mean? :pride:

May as well throw in the $1Bn market cap for Doge coin as well

This is why I called it a day, BTC and ETH are safe IMO but the rest are so volatile. I read an article last week where the guy threatened to tweet a coin into the ground if he didn't get $1m in ETH. When there is this much influence over my money... no!

Cryptocurrency is no longer an investment its now the most acceptable form of gambling :p

To a degree, yes. But that was apparent from the start of altcoins. Some altcoins are actually doing a bang up job, like Ripple/Monero. Both coins are actually making a difference in day to day life.
Other coins, well... not so much. Too many coins are volatile as fuck...

At least you get some entertainment out watching an empire rise and fall, instead of looking at that 45 year-old blank stare of a has-been hooker's eyes as she's lost her child's alimony money on a black jack hand.

I'm mining a few coins to HODL

1. Dash
2. B2X
3. Siacoin
4. Bytecoin

Invested in:
1. IOTA (When it was sub $1)
2. QTUM

Simple Token (OST) is by far my number 1 holding. My price prediction is $100 per token by the end of 2019. Research it for yourself and you will see why

I would add:

UltraNote XUN the spiritual successor to DigitalNote, cryptonote based but devs added untraceable messaging. Devs are also really active and friendly. Currently there is a double mining benefit, devs will double your coins up to 1000 XUN per wallet over the next week.
It's had a rocky start, but listed on an exchange within the first month, and at least one online store already accepts it as payment. At least it's still cheap to get in, but definitely a good HODL gamble.

BurstCoin, an altcoin that uses a POC algorithm, Proof of Capacity, iow, you mine it with hard drive space. Extremely energy efficient, so it is a coin for the future for sure. Probably the hardest coin to start mining, but the community is great and really helpful. A 4tb HDD can mine about R150 pm so it's also somewhat profitable to mine as well.

And also +1 for Monero.

Gotta agree with XUN. Love the community. Not that much invested as of yet, but aiming to make it a big part of my portfolio soon (gotta work on that capital).

Burst on the other hand.... I don't know eh, it seems they are banging on the door of the mining world with a concept so strange that it's literally just that, something so strange that it doesn't really merit any real value. Like everyone wants to claim they reinvented the wheel, but the wheel already does it's job perfectly, if you catch my drift. (no pun intended)
But hey, I could be dead wrong. Maybe it is the future. Just a bit cautious with this one.

Burst on the other hand....

I would disagree with you, look at how China is planning to regulate the energy consumption of Bitcoin miners, and Burst uses almost an insignificant amount of power and resources. (except when you're plotting a new drive..) So from the environmental perspective, Burst is a really great concept, it's gpu, asic and cpu resistant, and it's a good way to put old mechanical drives to use. It's not really that strange of an idea when you get the gist of it, at least not any more strange than POS coins. Anyway, Burst is definitely not a scam coin, it's been around since around 2014, and brings something very different to the table, whereas most altcoins these days are just forks.

Well I can't predict the future, but I'm a fan of Burst purely because it's rather esoteric, and the community is really great. Having said that, I'm not putting cash into burst, I'll rather mine it to be safe.

EDIT: Burst is also immune to cloud mining, so the network is very stable and not prone to the ridiculous difficulty spikes many new coins experience because of NiceHash pricks.

Those miners in china already starting moving their ops out of the country.
I have a feeling that once the lightning network is good to go many altcoins will take a dive.

$100 per coin x the total supply of 800 000 000 = $80 000 000 000, or roughly XRP's current market cap.

Not saying its impossible, can you elaborate how you think OST will become a top 5 coin?

+1 for SUB.

3 upcoming events should push price up further:
1. Listing on Bitrex
2. 25% coinburn of total supply
3. Alfa phase II closing and Beta starting.

Promising project, and still cheap to get into.

It is has a deflationary circulating supply. The team is already fielding dozens of inquiries a week from companies wanting to use the platform. Each time company stakes OST for their own branded tokens then those OST are withdrawn from the circulating supply

For some reason this site quoted the wrong post. Read my above reply.

Also, as I am sure you know crypto has been looking for the promise of mass adoption. The beauty of Simple Token is that it will be adopted by non-crypto masses that have no idea what bitcoin or blockchain are. I do believe it will be top 5 eventually. Tencent was an early investor and speculation is that they might make a WeChat Branded Token on the Simple Token platform

Last point. Your calculation was off to begin with. Market cap is calculated with circulating supply, not total supply

Interesting enough, will look into it.

Well now... these predictions were spot on [emoji14]
