Hi All,

I am desperate to play some online games and living in the Country Side.
Best service i can get is telkom LTE (well, pretty much the only service).

Please could someone advise on the best Poynting Antenna for gaming? I know nothing about the LTE antenna world.
I see telkom data package comes with a Huawei B525 - is this fine, or is there a better router?

Heres a screenshot of current signal:

What app do you use to get all that info?

Btw, I’ve managed to get a poynting booster device installed by Voda and MTN. But it takes quite some time and a good few hundred in phone calls.

Check on here and get yourself a poynting xpol-6-10m, if set-up correctly it give very good gains.

Is this for all networks?

As far as I know yes, it has the widest supported frequency band out of the lte antennas, but I am also using it on Telkom LTE.

What did you end up getting?

Cheers thanks @Gurshick !
I see there are are a variety of antennas - so the poynting xpol-6-10m is best suited?
In a similar boat using Telkom's LTE and looking at a Poynting antenna - it needs all the help it can get.

From Telkom's website they're currently using the 2300MHz band.

The directional antenna seems to be the most logical option if you have a relatively clear line of site to the cell tower - which I don't have.
