Sad to say he scammed me out of quite a bit of cash with the 7970 he advertised.Feel like an absolute dumbass.Faith in humanity lost.

I don't understand you guys,everytime I come back here I give hints of what to avoid,yet most don't listen and those hints come straight from ME!
Never make emotional decisions make logical ones!
I'm going to say this again,its easy to get a RICA sim with fake details ,its easy to use google maps for an adress it's easy to open a million bank accounts with fake details using different I.D's(yes that's why its illegal to post personal details, and becareful where you leave your I.D laying around) think I have exhausted this one so byron you won't hear of no more and becarefull who you give you bank details to as well just a heads up(don't worry ill leave you guys in peace now ill just observe what these groenewalt bros are doing 1 scammer is enough ill back off) and the groenewalt bros, isn't me there's 3 names listed here which isn't me as well.going the violent route will just get you a record use common sense and YOU will be fine trading online.

What the f***? You make out as if you're doing a public service by scamming people.

You tell us that you're going to stop scamming, but that's probably another scam. I can think of two possible reasons:
1. Someone is about to come f*** you up and you're trying to get them to think that they don't know where you are.
2. Most people have wisened and now you're trying to get them to relax a bit.

I'm not going to sit here and threaten you, because it's not my fight to fight, but I am going to say that you'd better watch out, because one day you're going to take money from the wrong person and when that day comes, I think you may quickly find that your immature, dishonest actions were wholly not worth it.

Soms moet mens net stil bly.... I am never ever gonna say this or give anyone any "ek is so jammer om te hoor" again. Low/no iTrader = face to face. WTF is so difficult to understand? The chances of being scammed if you just follow the 1 rule are basically zero. Ai people.

Cant people be required to provide some positive identification to admin?
 
Nope, it's not our responsibility to do your due diligence. We just provide a platform for the trades.
 
Yes but wouldnt requiring forumites to register with positive id help forum credibility overall? Onus still on person to establish bona fides but at least help eliminate chancers and make it more difficult for serious scammers.

Most scammers can use photoshop, so requiring an ID admin/mods will just end up with a bunch of fake id no's and probly the same pic:D

But at least help the genuine ones, maybe implement a referral system that u can only sell after buying 3 items and have been identified by 2 members? Will still allow a real major scammer through but once again adding level to get through.

Maybe RICA/FICA proof :p
