Post your bike/bikes

Also what last one? Did you have a riddle without me? How dare you!!?
It was invite only yeah :p

So now I get discriminated against just because of my choice of amount of wheels?

Well screw you then :p

Lol and yea, you definitely getting discriminated against for your choice in number of wheels.
Only way to go is 2 wheels, motor is optional (at least based on thread title) :D

Just do it, trust me, it's really worth if even if you just use a bike to skip on traffic.
i Just want a bike for fun - wfh permanently the traffic is no issue 😅 Last had a CBR600 but sold that about 3 years ago and just never renewed the Learners (never had a need for the license and was just easier to go write a learners every 2 years....but now COVID has ruined the traffic departments).

Maybe I should just get an offroad bike🤔

But this thread really makes me want the R6 I've found!

The actual license is dead simple, any half competent rider should pass it easily... just go get the learners and follow it up with license too... will help for insurance purposes also.

Also... just get the damn R6! lol.

I might consider trying to ride a 125cc first one day to see if I like it and if it is not too dangerous

Smaller bikes make you fall your $%$%#@% off... hahahaha.
I moered off of a cheap offroad bike at a farm because the dude told me he would always chase their ostrich on it, I believed him and chased it... it stopped dead in the dirt road, bike only had front brakes and I'm not a proper offroad rider so I went surfing along the dirt road on my ass... lol

I Agree with @thePridge .
For a buff woman like you I would suggest atleast a 400cc as a starter bike tbh.
You will most likely be uncomfortable on a smaller sport bike.
However you could look at a 125 scrambler or the like instead which is a fair amount larger (seating and leg room wise) than a 250cc sport bike.

So what exactly is the difference between the scrambler and a sportbike?
Is it like 1 v 2 exhausts? Or different tyres?

different riding style entirely.
Scramblers are generally higher off the ground, with thinner wheels.
Sport/superbikes have a lower center of gravity while having thicker wheels for traction while leaning into corners etc.

You also sit upright on scramblers, where as with sport/superbikes you lean forward for the most part.

Someone else with a better answer could probably chime in here :)

VFR400
VFR800
Fireblade 1000

Beautiful beasts, I wish I still had a nice bike, but times change.

Once you get used to that sound and the feelings it is all over.

You def have the style to be able to do it easily, just slide that butt off a tad more and you will easily get there.

Bumping this thread a bit.

I took delivery of my 2020 BMW R NineT Racer last year September. A very niche market bike, but I absolutely love it!

I have covered about 4500km with it thus far, and it's been a joyful experience thus far. Been to Zwartkops 2 times now and the torque on the small track makes for a beast out of the corners.

BMW Riders UNITE!

Riders of inferior machines, Kneel before us! Bwhahahaha

PS. To all the snowflakes - Is joke, calm down. :)

Also, If I recall correctly BMW is discontinuing the RnineT racers? Could be wrong but if so then you are going to have a rare-ish bike. I think I have only seen 3 in person.
