My YouTube channel got a few copyright strikes against it from Forza Horizon 4's in-game music so live streaming was disabled on the channel.

Yes, but it depends on your subscribers and views you get per video with help of ads.

My friend has a cycling channel and he made roughly R4000 per month.

Although, he's channel has been very quiet lately, so he won't make any revenue off it.

Will sub, i think also in the settings Forza Horizon 4 has a "Stream Mode" setting which circumvents this or plays copy right free stuff. Not sure about the ins and outs of it.

To make a minimal amount off money from a YouTube channel is more effort than a day job I'd say. If money is your goal then don't even think YouTube or Twitch.
