It is indeed, this is from a small ledge at the start of the contour path which travels back towards the east forts.
Beautiful hike, I've only ever done that one once but it was lovely.

This image of a Assassins bug. Looks much much better on my screen than what facebook typically compress the images to.

This is another in the series of lightning pics that I took on the 13th of February 2018...

There should be another one or two left too.

Here is to more lightning storms around Cape Town.

A mysterious mistress indeed.

Nikon D800, Nikkor 24-70mm at 70mm an aperture of f/10 shot at ISO 200 with 90 seconds of total exposure.

havent had a camera in hand for a loooong time. These were taken years ago, so cant rememebr what camera body/settigns were used. No editing at all.

This was particularly difficult to take, even though its not pro stok :). Not easy tracking these guys. But what makes it a bit easier, is that they kinda have a triangle pattern of flight.

Taken at kalkbay harbor

The bottom shot would have been a cracker with a nice CPL filter to remove some of the glare. Nice shots.

Thanx Charissa. I found it quite "intriguing, but with what I had on me that day, I just couldnt get what I imagined. I used to love leaving home early on a Sunday and just getting out. Life happens and you have to sell stuff quick. Oneday, when Im all grown up, Im going to put on my bigboy pants and get me gear again

I'm very new to the world of photography. I'm doing a udemy course to learn a bit.
I took this photo while it was raining. Wanted to see if I could capture the raindrops.
It's unfortunately a bit grainy because I wanted to test the fastest shutter speed and had to amp up the ISO.

Just bought this camera from @BillNaaai, thank you man, it's a good starter camera and in impeccable condition.

Body: Canon EOS 1100D.
Lens: Sigma DG Macro 70-300
Aperture: f/5.8
Exposure: 1/4000
ISO: 3200

Trying out some levitation photography at Sammy Marks Museum.
Firstly, this dress is highly unnecessary.

Secondly, this chick's wall-climbing skills open up a ton of new and interesting options.
