how much do the cushions help with clamping force? Do you have a spare and would you sell seperate?

Have a pair as well and clamping force is just too little to sit tight at some angles.

Yeah it’s shocking in OEM form, the cushions make it day and night, they sit MUCH better as they are much thicker.

I’m just still not convinced on the sound which is why I’m selling them, then again I don’t use them to game.

X2s are leagues ahead IMO, granted they are double the price.

I enjoy the neutral sound, still yet to plug into an amp and adjust the sound profile to see what can come out of that.

The X2's are great but I'm not a base freak, I enjoy it being present but I prefer the crispy presence of higher tones.

I’m allergic to excessive bass myself and prefer neutral. Maybe it’s my DACs etc but I find both the X2s and SHPs awesome in that respect, good clean natural bass. The separation is better on the X2 imo.

That said, The SHPs have an edge when plugged into something other than a dac.

One of the most underrated headphones are the L2s, only issue with them is the small OEM cushions.

I make it sound like I have monster ears but I don’t think I do lol
