I've had mine for two years, they're the best.

Edit: 3 years actually.

Edit 2: there is a big ass audiophile thread around here where people will probably have more to say.

I was thinking to get them, import it maybe and see how it is. Again i have never had open Back earphones, apparently the sound stage is better, by how much compared to my logitechs ( which is simulated i know ) i have no idea.

admins can put the thread in the audiophile sections please. did not realize there is such a thread.

Join us on audiophile headphone section.

I am run philips x2 and dt770 beyerdynamic - both are solid.

Cant beat studio and then add a mic like boompro or other.

I'm assuming these at the moment. Amazing headphones.... got them for R1500 off Amazon but these could easily go fir R4k.
Really amazing.... I use for gaming.... you hear soooooo much detail.
Where do you stay, you can borrow mine as I'm currently testing a new pair that I recently got

Your world will change when u spend real money and get x2. Wow.

If u have the cash get studio gear and a mic.

Listen to alot of headphones before u buy until u find what u want.

Took me a year to get x2 and before that about 2 years to upgrade my harman kardon cl to beyerdynamic dt770.

I have tested senns, audio technica, bose, harmon kardon, jbl, sony, bluedio just to name a few.

Everything depends on what u are looking for

I heard good things about these HP, but that was when they sold for 45-55$.
HP get's over-hyped and manufactures start jacking up the prices. :(

For a bit more money, there are were a lot of fantastic options around R2000 range on Carb audio section.
I mean, last year I sold my DT990 for R1700. Dunno why it took so long to go.

So in conclusion, be patient and subscribe to: Audio / Video
