Hello all yesterday i built a neqw setup
a ryzen 1200 with x470 mobo

after checking everything over i switched on the psu and the rgb played on the bord oh so pwity then switched on the pc all fans came on rgb's running screen displays searching for signal then boom no signal ok no beeps of any kind so it should be booting i tried the old ram still same thing reseated the cpu new thermal paste the works same problem cleared the bios same problem tested with another gpu same problem ime really to the end of what else to do can anyone help me please i really need my pc for work and one day offline has put me in deep waters.

Kind Regards.

Please list ALL your components.

Are you 100% sure both GPU's you used were working?

eish , hopefully its not one of those bundles that need a bios update before working
it shouldn't be an issue because that is an older CPU. Its usually an issue with newer CPU's. But I wouldnt rule it out just yet.

This is definitely a evetech upgrade combo with an MSI board.... :cautious:

after work ile take the whole pc appart and reasembel it again lol.

Also make sure you are plugging the GPU power cable in

You can also try different display cables if you haven't already
lol ive searched for another hdmi cable but what has my mind set on the not posting idea is that the keybord nor the mouse comes on and the main problem is ime 120km away from the nearest person with a pc lol

Try posting with just one ram on different slots, if not post with the other ram in different slots.

Bios reset...

Are you recieving a BEEP error code? Or does the board have an error code display?

Have you tried another PSU ?
psu was still working 100% last week same with the gpu the pc was only rebuilt over the weekend and tested yewsterday for the first time and thats where the problem started.

Found another hdmi cable and also same problem so i think ime slowly agreeing that the mobo is faulty i tried contacting the seller but his been mia since dsaturday as soon as i make contact ile speak to him and see what can be done.

Which cooler do you have on the processor?
Try loosening the screws slightly.

It has happened to me in the past, where I over tightened the screws, causing it to not post.

did you manage to reset your bios?

  1. remove power
  2. remove bios battery.
  3. press power button a few times
  4. wait 15 minutes

  1. reinsert bios battery
  2. plug that bad boy in
  3. hope for a miracle
