Hey guys 👋

I’m currently looking to buy an RTX 5070, preferably a good-quality 3-fan model like an ASUS TUF/Prime, MSI Gaming Trio, Gigabyte Gaming OC, etc.

I’d ideally prefer a white card for my build, but that isn’t essential.

The problem I’m running into is PayJustNow.
There seem to be quite a few South African retailers with great RTX 5070 pricing, but many don’t support PayJustNow. Wootware and Evetech, for example, have some really good prices, but don’t offer it. A few others only offer PayFlex/Happy Pay, which unfortunately doesn’t help me. I can’t unfortunately just straight fork out anymore for components since they’ve gotten so expensive.

Does anyone know of SA PC hardware retailers that currently accept PayJustNow for graphics cards?

I’m specifically looking for somewhere that has:
RTX 5070
Preferably 3-fan
Good-quality AIB/manufacturer
Reasonable pricing
PayJustNow specifically, not PayFlex or Happy Pay

Also, does anyone know why so many PC hardware retailers don’t offer PayJustNow? Is the merchant fee particularly high, or is there another reason? It seems strange that it’s available at some retailers but almost completely absent from the PC hardware market.

I’ve found a couple of retailers that appear to support it, but their pricing jump compared to Wootware and evetech is insanely huge and overpriced

Any recommendations would be massively appreciated 🙏🏻

PayJustNow - No

PC internation you can use Payflex, and before you place the order login to your Payflex Dashboard and set it to pay in 3, so that you pay over 3 months

Or

Rebel gaming - offers float, works the same just you need a credit card and still won't pay interest.

Or

If you don't use this facility, you can also buy the GPU at Progenix , since he has amazing prices, and would be cheaper than using the above method's

So the reason I don’t use pay flex I applied for it years ago when I didn’t have a credit score, tried to use it again now that I’ve got a good one, and solid income but it won’t update, no matter how many emails I’ve sent,
I’ve got happy pay and pay just now, and offer me over 20k each in credit that I haven’t touched.

I cancelled my credit card a few months ago, because I realised I just wasn’t responsible with it (I’m young) so I paid it off and stopped it for now until I can learn to manage one better.

If I could buy a card outright now I would, but unfortunately it’s an option I don’t have, and my current card is dying.

Then I suggest you go to Progenix and get an RTX 5050 for R6 K

or you can try

But I got no idea how they are , and they are listed in the payjustnow store directory .

Thanks for the help, I’ll carry on scoping out,
Do people just despise payjustnow or do they come with problems ?

Honestly

I utterly love it, Float, helped me to upgrade my camping chair into a lekker L shape lounge.

It's how I furnished my house, when I moved into my house, I used everything (Fridge, bed, Plates, Microwave, Airfryer etc..), pay flex, pay just now, Float, name it, I have no issue with them.

I think they are amazing facilities, but I still think you should see it more like a monthly allocation of your money towards it, it's just that I think a lot of people try to impress others instead of thinking rationally about their finances and end up in over there head.

At the end of the day your still paying for everything just a little more. but still a lot less then if you added interest.

My suggestion if you want to test out a store, buy thermal paste, how they handle the order is how they will handle all their orders.

@SeamunkyBRAIN

If you live near a chaos computers, they actually do price matching. I learned this a few weeks ago when I went to buy some case fans.
The sales person told me that 95% of the time, people come to them with wootware and evetech pricing and they just match it.

They also do PayJustNow, worth a shot!

Not to sure what to say or ask?

You definitely could!
Check if they have stock of what you want and send them the link to where you saw it cheaper. See what they say!

I'm not sure how it works if it's not in-person but worth a shot

Bud you are an absolute legend, and the people at chaos are awesome!
Extremely accommodating and willing to help, not just a if you can’t afford it sorry, have been back and fourth with them on emails, and so far I’m really happy with the customer service, which you generally don’t find anymore.
