So besides the usual water-cooling kit for the CPU, are there any other solutions that can bring down the general temperature inside the case itself?

Ideally, having everything linked to a water-cooling solution, GPU... CPU etc. would be the way to go. But for a novice, bending pipes, etc looks daunting.

You could go the soft tubing route. I did that when I got into water cooling.

Other than that a decent cpu air cooler will get the job done. Put some case cans on the back or up top depending on your case to suck out air may help a bit too. Coupled wirh intake fans in the front that should be fine for general use.

Are you overclocking?

Edit: I assume by water cooling kit for the cpu you meant an aio. That would be my first choice from an ease of use perspective if you're worried about cpu fan noise.

Awesome avatar... Was a good game.

Not at the moment... Currently running a Ryzen 9 3900X with a 2070 Super.
I see the one SSD is registering as warm on HD Sentinel and with Summer on the way, would like to keep the system as cool as possible.
Especially with that lovely CyberPunk 2077 load it puts on.

Lol thanks. Just finished it again on Xbox this time.

My nvme also runs warm. They're apparently designed to operate at warmer temps. They always pop up as amber on hdd sentinel for me.

Well watercooling, generally speaking, won't do anything to keep an SSD cool. That said, what SSD is it, and what is the actual temp? If it is an NVMe drive, you can also look for an NVMe heatsink, I have one of these and it helps a bit: EK Water Blocks EK-M.2 NVMe Hard Disk Drive Heatsink

For more info on cooling your case: what is your current case, case fans and CPU cooler setup?

Standard Samsung Pro SSD's.

Yeah there are quite a number of Samsung Pro SSDs. When you say "standard" do you mean 2.5" SATA, or NVMe? What is the exact model number?

Case: Carbide Series 275R Mid-Tower Gaming Case

Running the standard 2 fan configuration that comes with it.

You have space for 2 more 120mm fans on top and 2 more in the front, so try adding fans to see if that helps. Remember that front fans should usually be intake and top/rear fans should be exhaust, but you can always experiment to see what works the best.

Samsung Pro 2.5" SSDs.
Thanks, will take a look at adding some more fans and maybe do some water cooling at a later stage.

Does anyone know of a place in CPT that specializes in Water Cooling systems and does installations?
