Hi guys,

I need some advice on what to do with a card I bought here from a member.

The card started making weird fan noises in about a two weeks time after I bought it but is still in warranty with wootware till Feb 2020.

Because it is still under warranty I did not want to fiddle with it so I have sent it to wootware with a video of how I can easily recreate the issue by using the fan speed slider in Palit Thundermaster.

It happens after a while of gaming but sometimes even from a "cold start". It is a weird fan whine noise.

They have now tested it but they can not find any fault with it. What should I do now because if they can not sort it out under warranty what options do I have? Should I buy new fans to replace but void the warranty or is there another way?

In the video you can clearly hear it at 0:13, 0:30 and best from about 0:45

This is quite fortuitous, I am in the same boat. Same model card, but warranty until I belive november this year also with woot. However I had a similar concern.
Only way I can see is either the fans sieze completely, buy a new cooler or live with the noise.

None of the above are ideal.
