Paid for Item, still not even a waybill to show

Good day admins.

Thread: [Wanted] - Full Pc Needed Suiotable for Point of Sale and general office stuff | Combo (multi-item) sales & full systems

I was sent a pm by @ChinaNum#1 stating that he has a pc available for me at R1500

Don't know if you can view my inbox but there is the conversations we had on this platform.

So long story short is, I paid him R1599 on Saturday afternoon and sent him the pop via whatsapp. He said he could only send me the item once the money reflected in HIS account. I accepted this.

Then coming to light is that he sent me his mothers banking details, which was confirmed by him to be correct. After which I questioned his age, and his response was that he is 18 years of age. Although his profile says 49. On this he responded that he took over his brothers profile.

Tuesday came, still no funds reflecting was his response. Today (Wednesday) still no funds reflected.

So now he sent me messages saying that his father will now be paying my money back even though "they" still haven't received the funds. All I had to do was send screen shots of the money going out of my account.

I did this. But no money has been received.

I then proceeded to ask for his fathers contact details so that I can speak to an adult about this and get his email address so that I can send him the pop directly from the banking app. I am yet to receive any details. .

At this point I have refunded my client whom I was supposed to buy the pc for. I have paid him money for nothing in return. I am losing a client, I have the complete whatsapp conversation thread available if need be.

Edit: I obviously no longer need or want the item in question, I only want my money paid back. I recently lost my job. So I'm trying my best hustling for my wife and 8 month old. Moving back to Western Province this weekend so the money is much needed.

Carbonite rules say you sould not let a item go unless its paid for, I waited still not received I told him ill take the POP he sent me to the bank and if its a real payment thats not falsed he wil get his money back because then I gave the incorrect details

If the bank says its a real payment tomorrow he wil without a doubt get his money back

I possibly made one mistake here in downloading the pop to my pc and forwarding it via whatsapp. Provide me with an email adress and i can have absa mail you a pop directly from the system. Either way its going to look the same but if I can have it forwarded from their system maybe it would provide more "proof". Admin you are welcom to leave an email adress aswell to verify the pop.

Kindly also comment on false information on your profile (age), taking over of your brothers carbonite account and using your mothers bank account.

Can you please confirm who is the owner of the bank account you gave for money to be paid into and which bank are you with ?
If you are not the owner of the account how do you know that a payment was indeed not received ?
 
Again I propose sending me an email adress I'll resend the pop from the absa system. And i invite all the admins involved to provide me with email adresses aswell I'll send it to whoever. I may be smart enough to edit a pdf document, but sure as hell not smart enough to send emails by absa for absa... If you know what i mean.

My mother controlls my fnb account because it was opened since I was young,I sent him screenshots of whatsapp of her saying its not in and I dont have alot of transactions going on in my account so its not possible to miss it

@Heinrich_ZA , I am not sure if you sending me or any admin a pop will be of use to you as there really nothing we can do with it, I dont doubt that you made the payment.

Tell you what, go do what you have to do at the bank tommorrow. But I suggest going to your own bank and pulling a bank statement say from the 7th and look at the transactions YOURSELF. And also please get your number linked to your account. Get your own carbonite account.

Lastly, this is how desperate I am for my money, I am willing to provide my internet banking details to an administrator to go look at my transfers and whatever. Ill change my passworda afterwards. Theres not much to steal anyway apart from a big overdrawn overdraft. I for one trust people on carbonite, just because you got scammed on gumtree dont drag me through the mud please. I have lots to deal with at the moment.

Yet you confirmed the details to be correct on whatsapp. Go look at the chats. I dont know how to paste photos here.

When will you do this ? This is quite urgent.

I mean its just to check the account details on the pop, what you sent and what is the actual account details.

Why is it difficult to pickup the phone and call absa to verify the payment reference.

I mean if your mom controls the fnb account would you be able to go to your bank and get a transaction history ?

Ive got a picture or the banking details of my account but I dont live with my mom I sent her a whatsapp to ask about the details and cant call she works in medical industry

You have a picture with your banking details, you have a proof of payment from @Heinrich_ZA , are those the same ?

This is not looking good ....
 
@ChinaNum#1 answer these questions, in order for me:

1. How old are you?
2. Can you trust your mother?
3. Confirm those details you sent to @Heinrich_ZA now, post a screenshot of the details here.
4. Who's account are you using, and how old is the owner of this account?

Additionally, I don't believe it's your brother's account. There has only ever been one cell number shared with that account, and it's been the same one. Or are you using his phone as well?

@ChinaNum#1 I would appreciate some feedback. You are not replying on whatsapp so whenever you wake up or go online please let me know whats happening.
