So I know many people have managed to OC this cpu u to 5GHZ easy but I can only get mine to 4.8GHZ on all core with 1.35v(most stable) or 5GHZ on core 1 and 4.8GHZ on the rest with 1.35v again. With the cut(current). With my current OC profile Of 5GHZ on single core I manage to keep temps at 65 and have OC ram to 3200mhz

Can any one tell me why I can’t reach 5GHZ on all core let alone 5.1GHZ as my cooling(4 static pressure fans) and AIO keep it very cold but I get so much instability

I would first try get the cpu at the OC level you want then do the ram as it could just be that the board is struggling to keep both OC profiles happy. So could be some where that the ram acts up with the cpu at 5ghz on all cores.

But personally found that my z390m did better than my Z370i on cpu OC. But my z390m has extra 4pin power for the cpu and the Z370i only have the 8pin. So power can be more stable.

Not sure maybe psu also not delivering enough power for cpu at that 5ghz?

Thank you🙏 I’ll try the ram OC after I get a stable 5GHZ OC.PSU is a Corsair 1200i so I doubt it will be that
