Job Description/Requirements:

Hi guys my company is seeking six (6) detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Network Operations Centre Engineers to join our growing team.

The successful applicants will play a key role, in providing technical support in all areas of network services, in our 24-Hour NOC (Network Operation Centre). You will update systems, troubleshoot problems, and provide remote support for our high-profile customer base.

Duties:

• Network performance analysis
• Network availability monitoring
• Provide help-desk support to network users
• Fault logging with service providers
• Evaluate connectivity issues with various LAN/WAN technologies (Cisco, Aruba, HPE, Mikrotik, Ruckus, Ubiquiti and Cambium)
• Technologies include: Switching, routing, wireless, fixed wireless internet, fibre internet, LTE and other communications media.
• Perform post-resolution follow-ups to support requests
• Reinforce SLAs to manage end-user expectations
• Take ownership and responsibility of any issues from start through to a successful resolution
• Ability to work shifts, including periodic night shifts, is essential

Skills:

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills (Telephonic and Email)
• Prioritise workflow by fault impact
• Highly analytical and able to solve problems on their own
• Ability to work through problems quickly, and accurately to a successful conclusion
• An ability to listen to clients without interruption, or without jumping to conclusions is critical, our clients are from a variety of English-speaking regions, and so accents and dialects will require a keen ear

Experience / Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role would be an advantage (not required)
• Matric (Grade 12)
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP and Network Topologies - preferably with some form of formal training
• Experience in troubleshooting connectivity-related IT issues, particularly Internet connectivity at local users and network level
• Mikrotik MTCNA and/or Cisco CCNA certifications would be an advantage
• Due to the geography of our client base, English to First Language level is a minimum requirement, applicants will be required to communicate with English-speaking clients, in a wider global geography,
  and should have strong listening, speaking and written skills in English

Excuse me being cynical but parking should be a given, not a perk (unless it is a really small op with street parking)
If you specify it as undercover (or basement maybe) it might be

Parking can be perk. We have a big space and most people park under trees far from the building and a hand full park under covered parking mostly managers and up,but mine is like in front of my office door also under cover it's nice, but it doesn't make or break my day.

Apologies I should have been more specific in saying Secured Parking. I could add that the premise is situated on a large eco golf estate, with good views and nice quiet surroundings.
