Would also like to add some more information about the vehicle that I forgot to add with original post, along with a few points that people have asked me about:

The car has fully working AC, along with power steering and remote central locking. The paintwork is in excellent condition, and i have not been able to find any rust anywhere. The car recently underwent a full service (glad to send invoice), and I replaced the side view mirrors along with the boot shocks.

In terms of issues: there are three that I would like to bring up in terms of full disclosure and because they have been pointed out to me

1. The car is missing a hub cap. I did get a quote for a new Opel hub cap and the lowest price I have found is R800 just for one
2. There is a hole in the exhaust on the undercarriage - I am happy to try and find it and send pictures, but it's something that hasn't really affected my driving experience
3. There is an electrical problem in that when it's extremely humid, the car's computer seems to lose connection to the dashboard. This is a problem that none of the many auto electricians I've sent it to have been able to isolate or fix, and it occurs so infrequently that I sometimes forget it's there. It does not cause the car to stop or break down, and it does not affect driving at all. When it occurs, all I do is tap the steering column just below the steering wheel and everything starts working again. It's apparently a very common issue with Opel Corsas, it's not a problem that has ever affected me or the vehicle, and has become something of a minor annoyance that pops up during really humid days. I suspect it's because the wires are not properly insulated underneath their cover and a small short occurs. The electrical system is otherwise in perfect working order.
