Hi,
I have an old Acer aspire 5742g and I want to upgrade the RAM on it. The laptop came with win7 but I want to upgrade to win10.
This is the link :- Datasheet PN: LX.R5301.014
I have already ordered the SSD from takealot (link), thanks to a R200 takealot voucher I got it for R279. Now I want to upgrade the RAM.
My question is the datasheet page on the acer website says it's upgradable to 8Gb and the following
Memory Technology DDR3 SDRAM
Memory Standard DDR3-1066/PC3-8500
What RAM I need to look for ? does 1066 mean the frequency of the ram. Because if it is I can't find it on the classifieds section.

will this one work with the above laptop ??

or this one

the current RAM voltage according to CPUz is 1.5V. Can I buy a ram rated at 1.35V ??

No, 1.5V only

There is DDR3L which is dual voltage but i would stick to 1.5V explicitly.
