Hi guys, we're considering selling official Carbonite merchandise, and I need to get a REALISTIC idea of what you'd be willing to pay for the following to see if it's feasible at all.

T-Shirt with Carbonite logo on the front
T-Shirt with Carbonite logo on the front, logo and username on the back
Hoodie with Carbonite logo on the front
Hoodie with Carbonite logo on the front, logo and username on the back
Coffee mug with Carbonite logo and a slogan (not decided yet, but something such as "Start your day with a cup of coffee, end it with Carbonite")

Additionally, any other merchandise you'd like to see?

And please, keep the prices realistic. If you know you can't buy a shirt for under R 100 please don't come with your R 50 offers.

T-Shirt with Carbonite logo on the front, logo and username on the back - 200 bucks
Hoodie with Carbonite logo on the front - 400 - 500 bucks?
Coffee mug with Carbonite logo and a slogan - Slogan could even be users signatures?

I like the idea, although I think there will be an initial qty bought by the hardcore CUD'ers and then very few thereafter. Perhaps link the merchandise to monthly subscriptions? Buy the R200 shirt a be a normal Carb donator for 4 months (the badge on your profile), buy the R300 shirt and be a VIP supporter for 4 months (the badge on your profile).

Pay R2,000 get a Hoodie and be a Mod for a week, and you are allowed to ban someone for a day. XD

Pay R1,000 for a Carb Ban hammer, get banned for a week, and receive the special CUD or Ban hammer delivered (similar to Thor hammer), get a badge on your profile, and be a bad ass!

I think it all depends on the type of design, material and so forth.

But I would not mind paying around
R350-R550 for a hoodie,
R150-R200 for a shirt,
Coffee mug idea is pretty cool. (I'll definitely be keen on one)

Keep me posted!

I'd definitely be keen on a t-shirt and a mug. Also R150 or so for the t-shirt. Happily more if it's really good quality like Vents Brull.
R100 for the mug. Not keen on a cheesy slogan though. I'd much rather have just the Carb logo & name. Having my forum name would be a winner too, but I realise unique prints drive up the cost significantly.

I can't do custom mugs without pushing the price up quite a lot. I have a contact for shirts/hoodies who can do small differences on each print (eg username) without pushing the price up much, but usernames on mugs will be expensive.

To add - the once off setup fee for the mug is R 350 per design, meaning that once the mug and printing is paid for it's well over R 400 for a single mug with a username or signature on it.

If I were to order 100 mugs, the setup fee would be spread across the lot, bringing it down to R 3.50 per mug excluding the mug itself and printing.

Who is setting up the mugs? what if (for arguments sake) i set the mug up with my username and signature and send it to you to put on the mug? would i still be in for the R350 set up fee?:ROFLMAO:
If not, id be more than willing to help any Carbie wanting a mug or 3 with a custom siganure(y)
i work in illustrator so it be a piece of cake for me to do provided i know what the mug people need?

I would take a mug with logo (100) and T-shirt with logo and username (200). I can then use them in the photos I post on my threads. Maybe stickers too.
What about the USB with logo option souljazk souljazk had posted? (100-150 depending on size)
