Hi all. Long story short, I build hackintoshes and my current PCIe NVMe drive for Windows is preventing GPU init in macOS when plugged into the motherboard. macOS boots fine and works perfectly without it plugged in so it's something to do with macOS not liking the drive's controller. So I am looking to see if anyone would be interested in buying it or trading for it. I want to switch over to an M.2 NVMe as they are fully supported in macOS 10.13 and above and shouldn't cause issues. I am open to trades for a Samsung 950/960/970 EVO or PRO or any other M.2 NVMe drive with a similar data rates. 256GB or so should be fine. 512GB is obviously better.

Just some notes first about this drive. It is an OCZ Z-Drive R4 RM84 300GB It is enterprise-class but is bootable. OCZ (Toshiba) still has drivers for Windows and various Linux revisions for it on their site here: OCZ Downloads & Updates

I have been running Windows 10 on it for quite some time and works flawlessly with excellent health (can post speed tests and Crystaldisk info if you like). It has a 1:1 read and right speed of about 1700MB/s even though the literature claims about 2000 MB/s. I understand that when this drive was released it was pretty much the fastest thing around. It is on the latest BIOS available.

It is the half-height card but it has a full size mounting bracket so it will fit in any case. Let's hear what you have!
