Noctua NH-D15, is it still the King of Coolers?

Oh and the tests above were done on lower Ghz then I'm used to attempting and the Corsair H115i plus the Delid keeps them well under control I've never gotten anywhere near 80 degrees.

Called it. You'd also probably benefit from a Delid and some tweaking.

That cooler is just too big for most people. Yes, it does cool well but its just too heavy.

If someone had a flatbed chassis with plenty of room, I'd say go for the Noctua.

Strange that mounting pressure would be an issue. Maybe the springs have lost tension over time? Interesting nonetheless

Ran the same tests again with the H115i Corsair and it's still hitting a max of just 68 Degrees on a 5.0ghz OC

Yes it clears comfortably. The cooler was designed around the ATX Standard. It can be rotated if needs be

I had the same problem with my Z77 mobo - too small for a big air cooler. I was going to get an AIO but then I went for a regular case because the heat was such a problem.
