Support No new alerts and one reoccuring one repeating hundreds of times

I suggest the same I saw some of your preferences that are not set correctly

The update added a lot more preferences for users to handle themselves.

Hi . Yes all alerts alerted . Problem started before the upgrade, as per first post .

They look fine to me . I don't tick email alerts , That's all.

yeah same, my alerts are crazy random and it's like 2 in about 20

also, I think I actually got an alert from a NEW THREAD while my watch is set to NEW MESSAGES

Yep, I've got 3x alerts for motherboards the whole day. Nothing on any of the other Forums I'm watching and I'm watching plenty.
Think I'm going to start a Smack Talk thread and see who else is having issues . Can't just be one or two of us . Makes no sense.

yesterday morning was a weird one again as I got quite a few, but still obviously missing few here and there (this was around 12 I think)

mine is set to NEW MESSAGES yet I get the often alert of a NEW THREAD as well

Hi . Nothing has changed on my side. Got every Alert ticked. I occasionally get a random new thread alert coming up. That's like 1 or 2 out of 100.
Any thread I've started or that I've commented in alerts me without fail.
Also no problem with PM alerts.

All my watched Sub-Forums /Threads - Nothing . I've resigned myself to it being like this . Nothing it seems can be done about it. It's been like this since I got that random message repeating a hundred times or so . So mine was definitely instigated by that strange event before the update.
Not sure what's causing it on your side.

PS: Just to actually answer your question
I've only interested in "Send Notification for New Threads "and that is highlighted when I watch the sub forums. So any new threads that pop up under CPU, GPU, Laptops, etc should alert me but don't.

I might be having a similar issue. 1st day or 2 after the update, I had push notifications coming for watched threads. Since then, I've stopped receiving. No idea if I messed up with some settings or what.

Ah that makes me sad.
But I'm not getting it on email or as a normal alert either.

It also made the server sad, extremely sad.

We know some people have problems with alerts and it will probably be gone with the next upgrade, which we are waiting for from the xenforo devs. Until then please be patient.
