+1 to that question for me, I only played in alpha so no idea what its like now.

If you find out would you mind updating on the findings please.
Thanks

Probably not going to try it out right now.

Reports on the New World subreddit indicate that trying to launch New World while using an RTX 3090 will cause it to completely fry, forcing those impacted to contact manufacturers for refunds or replacements. The issue seems to be affecting EVGA RTX 3090 cards more than other GPUs, though it's worth noting that people who use other versions of the 3090 have reported problems with overheating and dangerous power spikes.

I have two friends with close to 10hours on the game already, they say they have to wait 30-60mins to get a server, but after that it's stable and you can play.

I ended up buying it on steam because I saw that beta time doesn't count towards refund so you can literally play the whole two week beta and then either keep or refund.

Found it plays fine for at least what I've encountered so far.

I am also playing.
Its fun.
In game people with 30 series card were having issues and also saw the reports of card damage from the game.
Older cards seem to be safe.

Latency is ok. No worse that WOW was when I played that.

Its Beta, so joining is sometimes broken due to long queues and the login server throwing their legs up.
I have not done PVP yet. I do think that PVP will suffer with the latency when action counters/interrupts are important.

All in all it is fun to play. Typical MMO that does everything ok.
Some balance issues still, but that is what the beta is for.
I am using the beta time to learn the game to play more seriously after launch.

I am playing fine on EU with a175ping,

Seems all good, very nice graphics playing on Asgard server

Got about 170 hours into with permanent FPS and ping overlay was sitting at around 190ms most of the time. Servers were screwed the 1st 2 days then stabilized apart from a couple of hotfix updates and resets. Was playing on a server added on the 2nd day called Sculptor if anyone is looking for a company have mine listed HERE

Played the New World BETA that was on this weekend.

I got to Lvl 27. And did 42 hours

I had good fun doing PvE. Lots of story questing to keep you interested and going. Grouping up with friends did take a bit of sorting out. Crafting is good, even though we got limited to Tier 2.

To upgrade a village takes a lot of time from everyone, and you need a large Clan to drop 100 K gold to do it. This happened on the last day but it was too late to have any impact on crafting.

PVE looks fun. I did try it but suked at it.

I did get to do the first Dungen, and that was a blast. Overall, NW was fun. Well worth getting.

It feels like witcher meets wow.

I'm too scared to google what this game even is. GPU's are expensive

If I remember, it was related to 3090 evga cards with lousy soldering.
It ran fine on my 1070Ti :)
In a high setting, I got a constant 100FPS. Ping was about 190 to the server I was on.

3090 evga cards with lousy soldering
That's disgusting. Imagine paying double the price for your home and end product is built with mud.
OT: The name of this game reminds me of Anno 1800 and I play Anno quite a bit so technically deserve to be here.
