Neverwinter: Dungeons and Dragons

Have you tried the Campaigns? The Campaigns are really a lot of fun and they have different themes for every Campaign so there are a lot of different things you can do and new armor you can get.

I agree that the game does become a bit of a grind after level 70 but if you join in on the Campaigns you can get the stuff you need quite quickly.

PRO TIP: Most of the best armor can either be bought on the Astral Diamond Auction House or with Brave Seals by simply doing Dungeons. Having the best armor in the game makes it a lot easier as you are not constantly grinding for everything anymore. You can do about 2 dungeons a day and end up with 40k Astral Diamonds more which I would recommend using towards upgrading your Artifacts and Companions.

The Campaigns unlock Boons which also give you an increased Item Level and better stats. Currently I have about a 40% Crit chance with 20 to 25% Lifesteal chance just from boons that I've unlocked and upgrades to my armor.

Why the constant grinding for better stats though? PVP. Honestly the best part of this game is the PVP but you have to be good. I am slowly working my way to PVP by unlocking the boons and upgrading my Artifacts. Once I hit Icewind Dale I should be able to do some pretty decent damage in open world PVP. The PVP Skirmishes are a bit of a bust if you do not belong to a Guild that does regular PVP team-ups.

Aye i used to work my way through the campaigns but lately i'm just logging in for the daily VIP rewards, then load up LOTRO for questing/lore or PoE for teh loots. I get a bit sick in my stomach just thinking about AD. Same with dilithium in STO.

Wow you have your finger in all MMORPGs.

I struggle to do that. I tend to invest my time in 1 or 2 games at a time

I tend to hop between them on a monthly basis. This month Neverwinter/LOTRO and then next month ESO/FFXIV. Still have not found anything as good as vanilla wow tho :/

I miss taking days to level to 20, only having 1.3 silver and then begging you level 60 friend to PLEASE lend you some gold just so that you can train and buy a mount

Community was much different back then. I remember on my first char I was running around Brill when a 60 lock showed up gave me a couple of crafted bags with 5g and told me to have fun. That 5g was a ton of money for a newbie. Also remember being overly excited about looting my first junk shoulders from a mob in darkshire.

Ally scum?

UD lock, was exploring alliance zones.
Wou nou net se!
The UD starting zone has always seemed so underwhelming.
Enjoyed Orc/Troll and Tauren the most to start with in Vanilla.

Questing in STV was probably the scariest thing to do back then. Constantly watching your back and waiting for a rouge to back stab you while you try and fight the legendary beasts (think it was a tiger, gorilla and a crocodile)

Jeez, I really need to try out this LOTR, sounds like a lot of fun. Any fans of the old Diablo? Diablo 2? Still one of my top 10 games ever.

Have to agree with Flex. I can't play more than 2 games at a time. I have to commit to one or two. Currently playing Neverwinter and Mass Effect 4: Andromeda.
