Review came out 2 weeks ago. On IGN. Was actually shockingly premature.
I watched it? Unless I dreamt it. Hold on let me find it or attempt to.0_o I saw nothing odd. But ok.
Edit: Hmm still not seeing it.
Wait turns out it was just a "preview". But essentially he out lines the entire game just as you would expect from a review regardless. Didn't seem much different than the usual sort of video they come out with.0_o I saw nothing odd. But ok.

Yea plating it since launch.not to bad.feels like an updated payback without the shitty slot machine upgrades. So anybody playing this yet?
+1, also play racing games on a keyboard.just got to used too using a keyboard....have the same problem when i play FIFA as well...
I feel like the thing a controller is better at is throttle control, well that was untill CM's new pressure switches or whatever it's called.+1, also play racing games on a keyboard.
Still beat my friends that play on controllers 😂.
It's all or nothing on throttle, just like most SA drivers😂.I feel like the thing a controller is better at is throttle control, well that was untill CM's new pressure switches or whatever it's called.
Other than that I feel that the steering is sluggish compared to a keyboard or a steering wheel with pedals even.
Even better though is the full racing wheel, with pedals, or the full Sim (wheel, pedals, handbrake, gauges etc etc).I feel like the thing a controller is better at is throttle control, well that was untill CM's new pressure switches or whatever it's called.

So after being gifted a Origin Access Basic 1 month pass, I started playing this over the weekend.
I am going to buy it, quite entertaining.
Impressions so far:
1. It is not Underground, but there are enough elements present to keep me happy. It kinda feels like Underground-ey Shift/ProStreet with cops.
2. Handling model has a very arcade feel, you can coast in/flick & slide out
3. The AI can be quite stupid, they seems to give up after a lap or two and race each other and ignore you.
4. Very high CPU usage - I have seen near 85% usage
5. Looks pretty, the visuals are crisp. My 1080 barely cracks 60fps on Ultra 1440p.
6. VERY high disc usage, will move my game lib to SSD over the weekend (there is some stutter in-game which seems to be disc related)
Nope not at all but once your car is at a certain peformance level. I'd say 300ish (maxes at 400+) up until heat level 3 - 4 they arent all that hard to get away from. Once you hit 400+ cops are a joke and you can pull away from them in any straight line. And the cops? Have they toned them down?
Nfs will always be arcade like. Forza is the place to look for the more sim like or simcade experience. Have noticed high cpu usage as well around thr 65 to 75% mark regularly however i didnt notice the high disk usage, i should check that out.So after being gifted a Origin Access Basic 1 month pass, I started playing this over the weekend.

Not sure what to compare it to, but I am still very much in the early stages so the cops are super tough, especially mid-race when they swarm you.And the cops? Have they toned them down?
