Need for Speed Heat trailer is here and the game's coming on November 8
Watch the official reveal for Need for Speed Heat

Perhaps because we have been asking for cop chases and haven't been getting them for the last 10 years. Payback and NFS 2015's chases don't count since they were barebones and shit. Why does EA think the only way they can achieve fun anymore is with intense cop chases?
Will take a NFS Underground 2 or Most Wanted 2005 remaster. Or a re-imagining as you say as long as it's good. They had two years to work on this game so if they fuck it up I'm done with NFS and will stick to the Forza Horizon series. What we want is Underground, but remastered/reimagined. That will make me buy another NFS.
They were as much chase as I want in my NFS actually. I don't care for anything more intense then that. Although I will admit that I miss the pursuit breaker mechanic from Most Wanted which added a little strategy to the endeavor.Perhaps because we have been asking for cop chases and haven't been getting them for the last 10 years. Payback and NFS 2015's chases don't count since they were barebones and shit.
Didn't Motor City turn into World?I for one remember way back in the day there were talks of a NFS Motor City, I'd like to see that done, so basically StreetRod super remastered/reinvented. Now that I'd absolutely love!
I'm over the whole NFS of recent years. But will still buy the new one though lol.

Aren't there other games that already cater to this? All I want is a game that will let me race an assortment of exotics and muscle cars through the kind of roads the former Top Gear now Grand Tour team often drive.
You mean Horizon? Yes...and no.Aren't there other games that already cater to this?
If they were smart they would do what they are doing with C&C and just remaster all the old NFS titlesScrew underground. Give me a new NFS2:SE, High Stakes, Porsche 2000 or even Hot Pursuit 2.
Doubtful. The Project Cars devs were responsible for the SHIFT games. The last NFS game a really enjoyed was SHIFT 2, the newer ones are trash.
I really hope they make a SHIFT 3 in the future.
