Hey,

I'm a consultant and I need a new laptop. I'm looking for something thin and durable as i move around a lot.

I'd prefer 15" with 512gb SSD and 16 or 32gb of ram. I've got a budget of around R30k.

Anyone got any suggestions.

I've been looking at the XPS 15, but they're about 40k with my requirements and the macbook pro looks good, but it also seems to get rediculous once you add enough ram.

I've been googling around, and prices fluctuate massively between vendors. Anyone know where the best place to look is? It needs to be new and bought from a company since I need to get my company to buy it.

Thanks for the help in advance guys :)

The Mac you can just buy more RAM for later on as far as I know and there are modules that aren't designed for Mac but will still work and cost a lot less.

I'd still get the XPS because it comes with pro support and accident insurance. If you drop it from a 4 story building, you'll still get a new one back.

Hope this helps.
