Description of Bad Deal:
First of all I have reason to believe that this account has been hacked.
@CarbonProx posted two Graphics Cards for sale this morning with a "too good to be true price". (I know I should have been more suspicious).
Another member called dips on the RTX 2060 and I pm'd the seller. The seller told me he hasn't sold it to anyone yet but i have to pay in crypto as his account is overdue. I only had R 500 in crypto that I paid as a deposit, I told him I will pay the rest asap as I had to get crypto first. Since then he has been pressing for payment and offered apple/google gift cards as payment solution. I got sceptical so I contacted the member that called dibs on the card. He says he also paid for the card in full via eft and he think he might have got scammed. Now he suddenly has 2 rtx 2060s to sell for an even better price. He told me his phone is faulty so I can only contact him on Carbonite. He also only has two pics of the one card. After all this I aksed for a refund due to personal reasons and he refused, said I should not play with him. Warned him I will make this thread and he said I can.
