Looks like takealot and wootware did have stock but it sold pretty quickly. Seems to be a lot of demand.

FWIW, I purchased one for the wife in December from Amazon.co.jp - was about R 2,100 all in for the grey version (including import fees etc.).

The black version is in stock at Amazon.co.jp, but now at R 2,700. So it's perhaps better to wait for local stock...

How is the mouse? Worth it?

Looks like these guys have stock. 3K seems a bit overpriced to me though.

I have one as my daily driver and it is SO worth it to me. That being said it is my work mouse - and I do a LOT of vertical and horizontal scrolling and flicking between screens (and devices - I have my secondary PC sitting behind me and it is wonderful to just pick up my mouse and move between them). That being said - the MX Master 2 is still pretty solid in comparison, I just wanted the newer one because - USB C and the side buttons redesign.

Did I mention battery life? Anyway, for me it is great and a worthy investment, but I would say it is overkill for a lot of people's needs.

Thanks for the detailed reply. Judging by your reply it does seem a worthwhile investment.

Decided to just get a 2s. Will leave the thread open so others will know when @XtaCy696 has received his stock.

Got an email from Firstshop today.
They have limited stock.
I bought one @ R1,499

@XtaCy696 hope you haven't forgotten about us. I have a 2S now, but not really happy with the side button placement.

Slight derail: FirstShop has always looked a little dodgy to me and the prices are always really good. No caveats?
Store is definitely legit.
l’ve ordered many items from them over the past few years.

Only issue is they occasionally list an incorrect price or stock levels but that’s mostly on obscure stuff (server grade ram, barcode scanners etc)

They always seem to have the best prices on Logitech gear.
I’ve probably bought over 20 KB Mouse Combos from them over the years.
