Hi,

Does anyone have or know where I can get the CD that came with the MWEB Big Black Box (late 90s - early 2000s)?

The CD had some demo and indie games and my nephews really loved playing them.
Their CD is no longer functioning, so I'm reaching out to the community to see if anyone has a copy.

Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Have a blessed festive season.

Check for Abandonware games. There are a few sites around. Completely free "abandoned" games that you can download and play.
I'm sure some of those titles on the disc would be classified as abandoned in 2021/2

In the current year there really is no excuse for a child that wants free games..... compared to 20 years ago there is a veritable flood of free stuff that's completely playable.

Do you remember what games were on it?

Woah, you've been looking for 2.5 years already https://carbonite.co.za/index.php?threads/mweb-big-black-box-cd.256217/#post-1743309

Also maybe check with these guys on this Facebook group

Thanks for the replies, everyone. I agree that there are a lot of other options for them to play.
This is more a "nostalgia" thing for them as it was the first games they played, so they have a strong attachment.

The one game is called "Space Worms" I believe. I Googled it, but the games that come up are different to the one on the CD.
I'm not sure of the name of the second game, but it's about bears that live in a town and go to different stores, etc.

In any case, I'll try the Facebook group suggested and see if they can assist.

Much appreciated and all the best for 2022!

Could "Space Worms" be a version of the Worms series (e.g. Worms Armageddon, etc.) or perhaps Earthworm Jim?

Did you ever come right? Look what I dug out out of the deepest darkest rectum of the works storage. Not even sure if its what you looking for but it had BBB on it?
