Hi All
As you all can recall there was a thread where a big number of Vega 56 and 64's were sold by a chap called @elandre93
The thread was know as [Sale] - RX Vega's | AMD he has modified it several times but I have snapshots of the original thread.
He posted that all Vega 56's had warranty and this is where it starts.
I helped a friend buy 40 of these cards as he has a mining operation. Everything went well until the last batch we bought that had one faulty card in it.
He firstly got me to do exhaustive tests then told me that the warranty is directly with MSI and I need to contact them. When I asked him for contact details,
his retort was to say that the guy who he was dealing with has left and I must contact MSI directly. I did that and they pushed me back to the "reseller" which he in turn pushed me back to them and MSI responded saying its a very difficult position. We asked him for the money back or take the card back and we buy a 64 from him + the difference and he was not open to that.
Basically what I am saying is that if you have one of these cards, you have NO WARRANTY on them.
I have all WhatsApp correspondence if requested.
