MSI Targets Creatives with Prestige Series Laptops

World leading gaming brand MSI ventures beyond gaming with a new Prestige Series and the launch of the PS42 and P65 in the UK. Targeting creative professionals including photographers, designers or 3D animators, as well as budding content creators, both laptops offer premium configuration that MSI is renowned for and design-oriented features in a stylish chassis.

First unveiled at IFA Berlin, the P65 is a blend of power and elegance. Underneath the stylish chassis is the latest 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 discrete graphics and MSI exclusive cooling system Cooler Boost Trinity. To achieve best-in-class colour representations, MSI exclusive True Color technology provides exceptional colour fidelity, providing close to 100 percent sRGB accurate and vivid colours that the creation process demands.



In the era of modern devices, the P65 also provides the latest ‘Modern Life Service’ with fingerprint sensor and Cortana voice assistant. On top of that, the P65 is configured with Hi-Res Audio and Thunderbolt 3 to deliver a rich entertainment experience.* It gives you the freedom to work for over eight hours without being tethered to a power outlet.

The P65 comes in two elegant designs: a standard silver aluminium finish, and a limited edition with pearl white aluminium with gold accent. At an ultra-slim 17.9mm and ultra -light 1.88kg, the P65 can be carried easily to wherever your inspiration leads you, without sacrificing the screen real estate.

In addition to the P65, MSI recently launched the PS42. Aimed at the budding content creator, it comes with an incredibly slim skeleton, only 1.19 kg in weight and 15.9mm in height, and an amazing 10+ hour battery life. The 5.7 mm thin bezel delivers a high screen-to-body ratio. While being extremely thin, the PS42 still manages to pack much within: fingerprint sensor for security, NVIDIA GeForce discrete graphics, and up to 8th Gen. Intel Core i7 processor. Performance in an unprecedented chassis, the MSI PS42 presents both simplicity and elegance.

The PS42 is available at £1,099 from retailers and e-tailers including BOX, Buyit and Scan. The P65 is available for pre-order and will be available in-stores at the start of November. In collaboration with Intel, MSI now offers a free creator software bundle valued over £319 for purchases of the P65 or PS42.

Along with the launch of the P65, MSI is offering a limited edition in delicate pine wood packaging. The package includes an Ethernet adaptor (PS42), double-sided suede sleeve bag for daily protection, and a one-year extended warranty service.

I wonder if it has built in hardware color calibration. Would be good to see thermals, I dont care much for aesthetics, just needs to do the job.

90% of what a Surface Pro is but far cheaper. I like it. Sooo sleek.

I hope their cooling is sufficient, as was previously mentioned, as that kills slim notebooks.
