"small full atx"... those just don't seem to really fit well together :)

that must have been an expensive build just by looking at the amount of BP fittings in there

Well it was certainly a pain in the butt to work with...... just so tiny and full water cooling was a challenge that I enjoyed to the fullest.

how often do you do imports for these kinds of builds?

and do you do it from PPC?

Whenever it is needed, but also we did make use of PPC for all the watercooling solutions, except the gpu block. that was from phanteks directly.

PPC has in general the biggest variety of watercooling products, compared to any other place.

So it is roughly 2 years later, a lot has changed and we are all looking at 2020 with beer? goggles? hmmmm who knows?
The client @donaldza decided it was time for some much needed love to his machine, seeing as he would be using his baby a lot more.

He decided that with all of the issues revolving around Hackintosh and Nvidia and the struggles with the gpu's no longer being supported, he went over to the red side and got himself a nice Radeon 5700x. Well if that was all the love that was needed, then there would have been no need to post an update, right? Well wrong, he has also decided that whilst the gpu is being changed, why not make another "small" upgrade? And what is this "small" upgrade? Well we moved from an Intel i9 7900x to an Intel i9 9960x.

I present to you the in between and final upgrade.

It was such a joy working on a build that was done nearly 2 years ago.

Thank you @Killer_Inc Mods for the EPIC photos and upgrade installation. I've finally been able to upgrade to the latest macOS with the 5700 XT. Running like an absolute dream as it has been for the past 2 years, now I just have 6 extra cores to play with! Thanks @Thanatos_ZA for the trade on the 5700 XT.

Guys if you ever need a build done - @Killer_Inc Mods is your man. The first iteration never had the slightest issue and the upgrade installation is of the same crazy standard. This compact/custom case mod he did for me is still one of the best I've seen.

Just interested why you didn't go Ryzen or Threadripper as I would've thought it would be better value and performance?

The original build was done late 2017 / early 2018 and at that stage Ryzen/Threadripper wasn't as competitive and in terms of macOS support was *very* experimental so Intel was the only option. 2 years later it is better supported but it would require quite an investment to change the entire build to AMD, this upgrade just required a CPU change.

Nice case, nice idea, I would have done the piping differently, maybe put the pump res above the PSU?

Is there no way to mount the GPU with the acrylic facing the open side?

If only we had 1000w SFX PSU's :(

This looks like an amazing case to get a build going in.

The build is great, a little too cluttered for me though, would've been nice to see some long vertical runs to run the eye up and down.

Oh ok I see.

Hehe, maybe the most compact 9960X* (now) with a hard line loop
