Negative. Refunded the game before even installing it. I'll consider buying it again if they address the micro-transactions, the excessive grinding and the towers of time modifiers.

They`ve said that they are addressing those issues in the next update.

I did check their Kombat Kast yesterday and an article about it. Update supposedly coming next week so I’ll wait until then and look at player feedback after the update. I hope they fix it properly. I was really looking forward to the game. I enjoyed Mortal Kombat X a lot and have been playing the series since I was 9.

Bar all the grindy bits and micro transactions the gameplay really is fun and Im sure you will enjoy it.

Anyone remember that ghey bit in towers from X where you need to mash the face buttons ultra fast to break the thing?

Frost can be unlocked via story mode as far as I read, that "DLC" pack is just for people who are in a rush to play Frost I think.

Meh doesn't really matter you get Kuai Liang, Bi-Han and Hanzo Hasashi whit the base game. So all is well.

Well I dunno about the rest yet. But the tutorial is fucking excellent. Best in any fighting game ever, I wish they were all like this. Blows anything else NeatherRealms has done outa the water and let's not even talk of the other fighting games.

That sucks. With all this "oh the game is focused on multiplayer" that has been going around I would have hoped there was at least a 2v2 match type in multiplayer.

how is the game now after the recent patch? still reading mixed reviews on steam...and its basically stating more or less the same...the patch has made things worse instead of better...

there was apparently a patch that was released on 26th April...2 days ago.

Started the Story now...and wow I hate it, MK needs a reboot. But they've gotten really good at telling it, very good flow and good cinematics.
I'm a little disappointed in the roster, favourites are missing, lots of guys I don't like playing BUT they play much better than previous games so it's kinda ok.
