Hello :)

I got a sick 1v3 clutch over the weekend that quite literally saved us from losing the match.

*I know the intro is extremely long, I'm still a noob at editing, I'm in the process of shortening it

Here is the magical moment...

This one almost killed me, my heart was racing until that very last bullet.

Nice. Although I would have liked to see a slomo repeat of the last 2 kills that would have been awesome.

Nice idea, I will remember that for a next video :)

Ahhw came here expecting all the Vids that @ian_stagib and the other guys always get at the start of each month....

WP though

Not bad... the transitional movement as you're stepping the text over and panning the camera is not smooth which is quite jarring.

Yep, I know, I struggled quite a bit to make it more "smooth" :cautious: I will def try harder in the next video to make it a more smooth transition (I think it might have to do with the speed of the camera in cs when I recorded that clip, the demo system is not fun to work with at all)

Thanks for the feedback tho, really appreciate it :)

I know it's a bit of a pain to work with the Demos, you should consider Shadowplay or a recorder to record live content rather than Demos but in the past when I have made videos I didn't have the same issue.
Your CS footage does seem very choppy almost as though you have low fps.
The Text stepping needs to be very slow, it's painstaking but once you get a process going it becomes easier to just follow the steps you create.

Now that you mention this, my recorder is set to record at 70 fps, this might actually be the problem?

Your FPS isn't correctly synced then I would assume.
(y) I will change it when I record cs, I don't particularly like to record live content, for various reasons but mostly cause I don't have the storage space.

So I set my OBS to record at the highest fps it is capable of recording at which is 120fps :/
My cs gets around 250-300fps. Did a scene recording for an intro for another video aaaaaaaaand I still get this shaky/laggy video...

Now I'm wondering am I just shit at handling the camera in cs demos or is it OBS?

unless you have a 250hz screen you should lock your fps.
I presume you have a 144hz, I usually lock it at 180fps to give a bit of room if there is a dip for some reason.

If you need help with editing, give me a shout. I used to do Mechwarrior Online videos -

I have since retired, but willing to assist :)
Yeah I've seen your videos somewhere before :p

Right now I'm still getting used to after effects, like what is available to me and such, using the interface etc. So I take on small editing challenges, like playing with my intros. I try to add something new everytime or built on something I did previously. I would say my biggest problem is getting the recordings for the editing :p

Thank you for the offer I will hit you up if I need to use your knowledge in the future :)
