Hello Carbies,

So I have a Samsung T260 25.5" Monitor that has an issue. Every so often it rotates through the different inputs (HDMI, VGA and DVI) without my input ie pushing the button to change the input and it has gotten to the point where I am leaving the screen off all together. Current graphics card is a Gigabyte HD7870 and it is running 2 screens. The second screen has no issue what so ever.

My question is this....is the monitor becoming faulty and if so where is a place I can take it to, to have it repaired? Or is the graphics card the issue?

The Samsung is currently on DVI cable and second screen is VGA with a VGA to HDMI adaptor. The Samsung is supposed to be the main screen with the second an extension of the main. Could this also be a PEBKAC error on my side or not?

I appreciate all the help and support.

Regards

Might be something faulty on the input detection for the monitor.
There is an option somewhere in the T260 menu that allows for manual input select. Hopefully this would allow you to set it to DVI and it will stay only on DVI unless you manually select otherwise.

My Samsung 24" screens do the same, I have to set them to manual source selection...
