I haven't used it myself, but with the smart app you are able to track the humidity, temperature, particualte levels, filter status, filter days remaining etc using the app which is pretty convenient.

And you can remotely set it to sleep mode / auto mode etc, so it might be useful for parents with the air purifier in a kids room as an example.
