my K3G3R has fuzzy text in win 10 but games are 100%
Im running an Asus Z370 MB and RX 580 4gb, also I cannot get 144hz with my DVI link any advise would be highly appreciated.

PS My screen blacks out when too hot any advise there would also be helpfull

This honestly sounds like a train smash beyond repair...

Use the Display port on the monitor, DVI can't do 1440p 144hz, could also be the reason your text is fuzzy the monitor is running in 1080p.

Could also try calibrating windows clear type if you resolution is correct. The heat issue I have no clue, I had the monitor for a full year and never felt it getting hot.

make sure your screen is running it’s native resolution on the desktop

secondly try different cable , could be that your cable is dodgy and causing black screens / not being able to hit the refresh

good luck !

Tx guys, gonna try new HDMI 2.0 cable to see if that solves my issues. if not well then to the junk pile with the screen

Hi all. I have one but it flakes out af about an hour. Im looking for one that is busted to swap parts on mine. DM me if anyone knows of any broken ones

@PsychoticKing Did you ever put together a review on the Mecer K3G3R+

Juggling between getting it or the Dell S3220DGF.
I did but never got around to reviewing the monitor. The Mecer is great monitor but if i would choose, i would go for the Dell purely as it has better warranty.

I need some help, I'm deciding between this Mecer K3G3R+ 1440p 165Hz 32" and the Samsung Odyssey G5 (LS27AG550EUXXU 27") 1440p 165Hz

They are both VA, so it comes down to which product has the better VA panel, anyone has any experience with testing these two units? Which would you recommend getting since both are currently on sale and at a very similar price point

@PsychoticKing I see you sell the Mecer monitor, would you be able to give me any advice? Anything would be appreciated, thanks.

Honestly, neither. Returns on the Mecer were high, I eventually disabled it from the site. The Samsung has such a crazy curve (1000R) it feels as if it was meant to be used 8 inches from your nose.

1500R is about the curviest curve that isn’t unnaturally unpleasant. Asus, AOC, Dell, etc all have arguably far nicer options

Ah I see, thanks for the input. I was mainly looking at those monitors because my budget is around 5k, and those two were the only 1440p high refresh rate options at that price range on sale right now. Is there a monitor you would recommend at that price range? Or should I wait for another deal to pop up?

Hi all,

Apologies for reviving this thread.
Does anyone know where I can get the weird brackets for this to VESA mount?

If you bought the monitor new, the brackets are in the box.

If you threw the box away, you'll have to ask the retailer if they can put you in touch with the supplier to check if they have spares.
