It is easier for me to just copy and paste the negative rating i gave him, since it has all the details, link is here to deal:

• I bought a gpu from him that he was stated was in working condition.
• He insisted that i pay him before collecting or even seeing the card. The price was very good, so i agreed on this.
• I drove the 66km one way to collect the card.
• On inspection it had no serial on the back, so i felt uneasy about the deal.
• He assured me at the meet up location that the card was working, he inspected it in his friends pc.
• After driving back and testing the card, i saw it was artifacting within 5min of any game play or benchmark.
• I immediately contacted him, and he told me he will do the refund when i return the gpu. (Which is bullshit since i trusted him with my money before i even saw a gpu, and i have the higher itrader score) Nonetheless i didn't want to piss him off, since he sat with my money, and i had a potato, so i agreed.
• We arrange to meet at 8am the next day since i had a Christmas party that day.
• I had to do the drive again 66km one way to his location to do the refund and gpu swap, only to be told upon arrival "sorry i spent some of your cash will do partial refund at 12pm".
• I had to leave without a gpu and money and only his words to take that he'll pay me back. I couldn't enjoy my Christmas party at all, since i was worrying too much about whether or not i'll receive my money.
• He paid me back partially, an hour after he said. And promised to pay me back in full by weeks end. It has been more than 2 weeks, on this date of the review and i have reminded him.
• The ordeal cost me R480 worth of petrol since i drive a 3.0L hilux, loads of stress, and he still owes me a little money.

This deal pissed me off a lot, so i won't let it slide.

Bad deal is here to force him to pay up the little he still owes, since i hate reminding people they still owe me.

I'm not being vague, this is pointless, I will pay you back your money on the 30th, nobody forced me to pay you back but I did pay you back, I gave you all the details of the deal and you agreed to go through with them and the item turned out to be faulty I did not run with your money I gave you a refund, the remaining balance is small yeah but it's your money and I did not refuse to pay it back I said I would so just be patient you'll get your money.

@Man0fire I didn't want to step in because @eY_b0ss is a friend of mine, but considering your attitude, I will.

Give him a time and date to pay him back, like he asked. It's not a strange or stupid request. He's been a member for longer than you, has a higher feedback score and went through all the trouble and jumped through all your hoops. Your communication and attitude toward this deal is shit. Get it together.

@Toxxyc really not trying to give attitude, i did give a date already, and I did admit that I had bad comms with @ey_boss, I also did give him the details of the deal, some of he comments made by him are not true or rather not accurate, but regardless the deal went bad, I did apologize to him to and offered his refund, honestly if a deal goes bad it's our duty to resolve it as carb members and that's what I did I gave a refund but then I felt offended too when he makes it seem like I refused to pay him back after a bad deal, as also stated at the bottom of his post that this is to force me..i will pay him back his money in full it's just some unforeseen situations that took place therefore I'm unable to closeout his balance at the moment, I should have told him about it, but again my bad for not updating I apologize again will be sure to sort him out.

Valid request. @Man0fire why not post your side of the story? Perhaps there's more to it, as I have seen the thread where the card came from and there were some Q's regarding it back then as well.

I'd rather not get into a back and forth argument, I'd rather just pay the balance in-order for this to be resolved, but as for the thread it's as I posted, the guy had a debt with me, not a close friend but somebody I know, he offered the card as payment, needed the as I also had some personal things I had to sort out, so I made the thread and I think I remember telling ey_boss too, but not before trying out he card on the guy's PC I got there ran metro exodus, then switched over to control, not sure how many minutes I spent with the game as metro took its own sweet time optimising after I had switched the graphics settings, so yeah, that's all i knew about the card figured hey I tried it and it's working, also placed my trust in him, so ey_boss contacted about the he wanted to take it after the week's end "Monday" if I remember correctly, and I said to him rather he makes payment for it if he really wants it's cause it might be gone by then as I was considering the sweet price, and also I would only be collecting the card if somebody wants it, otherwise I'll let the guy sell it and pay me my cash, so ey_boss said fine he will pay for it so long and then come, collecting the following day, okay fine I said then few moments after I think we rescheduled he said he was going to come collecting at around 4 the same day, he then called and said he wanted to see the card before payment and I said okay I'll go fetch the card while he is on his way, he then after changed his mind again and made payment, we met and I gave him the card, later on that evening he called me and told me about the problem I said to him fine just give me back the and I'll sort out, we met again the following day, he was expecting a refund on the spot which I had already used up some money, cause I also didn't think that there would be something wrong with the card, so I apologized for what happened and told him I would refund him by twelve the same it took a little while as I gathered up the money, I paid almost all of it the same day and asked him if he could give me till during the week to finish off the remaining R150, things went bad on my side, things I'd rather not say out in public. and ey_boss did then after remind me of his money, and I said I to him I will sort out, I was still trying to get his money, but everybody seems to be in a bad spot, so I'd rather not be after anybody and pay him from my own pocket, I went silent again and I do admit that it was not fair on my side to have him ask me again for his money, I should have said something to him but in all honesty I just didn't know how to tell him again that there is yet another delay with his money, after he drove all the way and didn't get what he wanted, the guy now is m.i.a aswell when I told him about the problem he came to collect the card then later said he had 2 of the same card and somehow gave me the wrong one, and that he would come and see me, not knowing wether he was bringing me the other card or my money, I waited and I'm still waiting on him, and worse now I'm in a bad spot cause the whole situation just created more debts for me cause as I said earlier I used the money and then had to borrow some money to pay back for this mess that was created.
So sorry again to both toxxyc and ey_boss, for the whole situation, I take full responsibility and hope you see that I'm trying to clear the debt with ey_boss I'm not up running, these things happen I don't think anybody can see it coming but what counts is that you get your money back or replacement when an item turns out to be faulty, and I have given the refund, minus the the little bit that is left but will make sure that ey_boss gets it in full.

Yep, seems like a mess of note. Also seems like you didn't REALLY test or even have the card before selling it, so that's where the mess stepped in. I guess I don't have to say this, but it's never wise to sell something you didn't see or test beforehand. Trust me, I know. Been there, done that, ask @rinners what we went through a few years ago.

Sorry for your predicament. Let's all keep cool and get it sorted.
