Friends just started playing, so I'm looking to rebuild my BW token deck.
Specifically looking for the following, but will consider any BW token based cards (set doesn't matter):
Sorin Lord of Innistrad X 3
Blood Artist X 4
Doomed Traveller X 4
Midnight Haunting
Ajani's Pridemate
Any black hand destruction
Any spirit/vampire summoning cards
30 Swamp
30 Plains

FYI

Have a look at sadrobot.co.za or luckshack.co.za

I have built many decks buying singles from both sites.

Thanks. I used to play back in the day so I know of a bunch of stores, but was hoping to build for a little cheaper than SCG rates.
If I get no joy I'm just gonna grab a deck builder's kit and see what I can chuck together

I got an old black deck with allot extra card. If you be interested.

With all the cards could probably build 10 more decks different colours.

I know there are some special cards and some band card between the lot and some are sleeved.

I also have a ton of these cards in a box somewhere. Will need to take them out and see what is there. Have some very rare artifact cards too if I remember correctly.

I would chip in with the same but looked at selling off old cards last year and the depreciation on the value is shocking & offers will match (probably easier to keep as the sentimental value will be higher).

Had the exact same experience. These cards are art and I thought that their value would go up that's why I always kept mine but it seems to have depreciated a lot. I have some very rare forest cards as well and I was shocked to see they aren't eve worth as much as I paid for them when I bought them. Was a very fun game back in the day and if I'm not mistaken you can even find clubs that get together and play regularly and hold tournaments.

I have the same situation with my shoebox of Pokemon cards (Most of them are nearly 20 years old at this point)
The MTG prices fluctuate based on the current standard and modern metas. It's pretty crazy
I used to host tournaments 5 years ago and it was awesome, but sold off my entire collection when I moved (and actually made a profit), now I just wanna play casually again.

I use to play a lot, stopped about 6 odd years ago, use to play 2 tourneys a week. I have 1000s of cards, use to buy the sets of 4 of every common and uncommon for each set and then just order the rares and mythics that i needed to make decks. Have a whole book self with files of cards on it and the sad part is that i havent played now in about 5 years. I have like 20 decks ready to play in case someone that plays magic comes over haha.

Never really bought any cards for investment value, never thought of them like that, they were toys and used as such.

I had the same sad experience with my Ravnica, 8th & 9th edition (plus a bit older) Forest bruiser deck which was worth around about R 50 when I last checked

Geyser burst over my cards, they were all fine except the ones that were sleeved as they stuck to the sleeve (now sleeved forever).
