Check Takealot as they have a few options that could work for you. There's an option for under R1000 but reviews mention that it only lasts around 4 hours. The quality options are around R1400 (if you can stretch your budget) and should come with a pentalobe screwdriver to open your MacBook easily

yeah so i do work on PC's often for clients but it has mostly been Windows based PC's so I have a supplier for those but I've been getting requests to fix Macs lately and would like to expand my horizons more... thanks for the tip but I hadn't seen anything on takealot around those amounts though
