Anyone watched this series of one-off shorts yet? A really good watch if you have not. I am hoping they will start releasing more mixed anthologies like this in the future. It is a great way to show case talent and concepts, without the worry of a series that overstays its welcome and becomes stale.

Why do I think there was a thread about this if I am not mistaken. Finished it today. was just AMAZING!

Thoroughly enjoyed. Still need to watch the last short.

The one where the girl witnesses a 'murder' was insane, I really hope they make a season 2, it's absolutely brilliant!

Haha yes we did talk about this last week.

My favourites were,

Zima Blue,
The 3 robots
and SUITS the one with the Zerg infestation on the farm.

They were actually all hectic in their own way.

The Yoghurt. lol WUT

The secret war was great. MUCH ZERG!

100% agreed! The Zerg one was insane.

These remind me a lot of the contemporary sci-fi shorts that I read as a kid. The kind of books that first introduced me to Robert Heinlen, Philip K Dick, Harlon Ellison, etc (long list), bascially the continuation of the 50's anthology shorts they have their roots in.

Awesome series and hopefully a great insight for the masses into what makes sci-fi so awesome for most of us.

It's the best time ever to be a nerd. Damn, it feels like it is actually becoming the new cool. When I was a little reading shit, I often had to explain what I was doing... Or why the stories were so enjoyable. Now I can merely ask 'Do you even watch tv bro?" Something like Game of Thrones was considered super geeky, now everyone and their dog is sitting on the edge of their seat in anticipation...

Ah, it's a good time to be alive.

So, Dune anyone?

Did anyone recognise the voice in the Yogurt one? :)

This series is pretty good. Really like these type of shorts (y)

My favorites:
S01E01 - Sonnie's Edge
S01E02 - Three Robots
S01E03 - The Witness
S01E14 - Zima Blue

Awesome series - watched maybe 2 weeks ago. A welcome change. I enjoyed, the witness, suits, blindspot, zima blue and secret war.

Did you ever read any Analogs? They were pulp sci fi short story collections. My dad used to collect them, so I was lucky to have access to lots of them. Almost every main sci-fi writer from the 40's and beyond contributed at some point.

Agreed. Even though I thoroughly enjoyed watching them I found the "twists" extremely predictable and had come across 90% of them before in short stories read. I have a short story at home almost exactly like the girl witnessing a murder episode. The perpetual loop idea, which I unfortunately realised right at the beginning of the episode as they show you the person being murdered look like her.

Nope, I never did as I never had access to these growing up. Never knew it actually started in the 30's, I really was referring to the other two.

Those who enjoyed Love, Death and Robots will enjoy Dust;

Late to the party on this one but,
Anybody watch season 2? I found this show absolutely amazing. The stomach curdling violence, suspense and overall air of badassery. Loved it
