Hey guys. I'm looking for a decent pc shop with good technicians in Sandton or surrounding areas to assist me with my build.
I took my pc to the matrix in rivonia last weekend to put together specs are as follows
I5 9600k
AS rock z390 extreme 4
8 gigs ram
Msi gtx 1060 gaming x
Corsair hx1200i
2x 500gb transcend SSD
360mm cooler master AIO
2 x 120mm cooler master argb fans
Cougar conquer case
I asked them to put everything together and sync all the rgb lights with the headers on the motherboard. Started my PC up and the 2x 120mm fans in front don't spin, only the rgb lights work. I checked the fan curve in the bios as a mate suggested and that's all normal.
My second issue is when I open the cooler master software it says no cooler master device found?
This is the second time I've had a poor experience at that matrix. Can anybody maybe suggest a place where they can help me adequately?

Well not to sound too cynical but The Matrix is the last place I'd go to. Personally, I'd go to Rebeltech. They used to be in fourways but have moved to midrand. I've dealt with Justin in the past and have had nothing but great experience from them.

If you're willing to go a bit further out than that, Evetech is in centurion. They seem ok. I just don't get that personal experience with them as I do with rebeltech. I use them more for getting stuff I can't get elsewhere.

If it's just your fans that's not spinning maybe they only connected the rgb headers and not the pwm headers that actually power the fans hence why the software can't find it either.

Thanks a lot mate. Rebeltech sounds good. Any idea on what their rates are?

Nah I've bought stuff from them and their advice is free - lol. But I did eff up a new motherboard and Justin tried to fix it but couldn't. It was too far gone. They didn't charge me for that.

If the issue is what I suspect you might get away with a freebie as it'll just he connecting the fan's power connector. You could check it yourself. If you're not familiar with it it can be daunting but I'm sure there's tons of videos on YouTube. If I wasn't so busy I could take a look but it really isn't tough to check. If everything is connected then I'd take it to Rebeltech.

That's the type of service I've been looking for. Matrix just try and maximize the amount of money they can make. They're always trying to sell me things I don't really need when I take my pc in. I stay in Sunninghill and it's literally less than 3kms from me which is why I usually go there but I've definitely had enough now

The cable management looks like ass too. Looks like it was the biggest rush job. I'll have a look at the fans when I have time. We've just moved this week so it's been hectic

I stay in Fourways and will gladly help youfix this if you like. Just PM me.
Thank you that's a very nice offer. I really appreciate it. Maybe I would benefit more if I sat with someone who knew what they were doing to learn a little. I know just enough to barely get me by
