Position Wanted: Data Analytics / Data Engineering / Data Science work
Employment type: Contract, project based and remote
Salary: Scope of work dependent - always quoted up front
Starting Date: On demand
Location: Alberton / Illovo

Job experience/skill:
Got a Ph.D in Computer Science
Currently heading up a Data and Analytics team for a global tech retail company
Have worked for some of the biggest brands in the world, doing some really interesting D&A/Data Science work

Data and analytics is my passion, and turning company data into data driven actionable insight is that I am passionate about. I have worked with almost every kind of data set one can think of, and have always managed to extract valuable insight from it - either improving sales initiatives, clustering clients to better understand patterns, doing sales and stock forecasting, building BI solutions, delivering data ETL/ELT solutions - I do it all.

Happy to share some specific examples of how my approach has improved businesses in different industries if anyone is keen on an essay ;)

Give me the data, and some budget, and I should be able to....

Unless..... :p
Unless I'm just too fugly? It's quite possible you know.. I know Mr D (not that THAT D) are looking, maybe worth a shot.

Bumpity Bump

Who needs some next level data analysis, BI, Data Science solution? ;)

Can you predict next weeks lotto numbers ? ;)

I tried it with a basic forecast formula in excel with 36 months data and it was a complete failure.
But good luck with finding additional work ;)
Back in the day when they announced the machine names and ballset numbers you could make your predictive forecasting a bit more accurate, as certain ballsets had a "random bias" that would enable you to determine when it would be 4 even and 2 odd, or 3:3 split which reduced the number of permutations quite a bit, but still, even then it was random at best.

You could improve your chances dramatically, but still not be guaranteed winning your money back at the very least :p

Tata ma chance, tata ma millions ;)
