Good day folks. I have an old machine I want to squeeze the last life out of. It has a DP45SG Intel boarf with 4Gb RAM. 320gb SATA hdd. Its super slow.

What are my options to get the last value out of it?

You can get a cheap 120Gb SSD for R350 and that should make a world of difference and probably another 4Gb stick of RAM

Pop an 64/ 120GB Sata SSD in there . It won't run at it's full speed . More like half but that's still a lot faster than that super slow 320GB HDD.
Will make a huge difference .
Also even 2Gb more ram will help but another 4GB would be nice.

You might also still get something out a GPU upgrade.

I'm guessing it has something like Q8300 or E5300 in it (P45 chipset) which isn't great but should still suffice for some older games and indies. You just might be left behind by the DirectX support on that old ATi card. But forget for instance playing the likes of Shadow of Mordor, AAA games wise you'll be stuck at games from 6-7 years ago or so.
